Our Mission Playwrights Producing Company, Inc. is a non-profit organization. Our goal is to provide a venue for playwrights to have their work read as well as a source for actors to hone their skills. Membership is open to anyone with a desire to have their work read before an actual audience. Annual dues are five dollars. Attendance at a minimum of four meetings a year is also required. Before a playwright can have his/her work read they must have attended two of the previous six meetings/readings. In addition all work submitted must gain prior approval of content from PPC.
Our History Playwrights Producing Company was founded in 1985 by Kay Swink.
PPC is an established, highly respected part of Wilmington's thriving arts community. We are proud to assist, encourage, and provide continuing education for local playwrights-from beginners to award winners.
